
Becoming Dad: Understanding Yourself and Your Role in Early Fatherhood
Join us for a 5-week group aimed at strengthening paternal wellbeing through psychoeducation and connection with other Dads. Babies welcome!
If you are a new or soon to be Dad and you’re looking for support as you navigate the challenges of early fatherhood, this group is for you. Facilitated by our experienced perinatal counsellor and group facilitator, Rebecca Curtin.
Together we will explore the following topics:
- Understanding fatherhood as a major life transition
- The role fathers play in attachment (and why it matters)
- Supporting your partner whilst caring for yourself
- Understanding how you respond to overwhelm and strategies to manage stress
- Becoming the dad you want to be
